”Tokaj wine region (officially called Tokaj-Hegyalja) is located in Norteastern Hungary with a small part that belongs to Southeastern Slovakia. Due to its uniqueness, the area was added to the UNESCO world heritage list in 2002. Here the volcanic hills are surrounded by slow- flowing rivers, which creates a nurturing environment for two special fungi, one outdoors and one in the cellar: Botrytis cinerea and Cladosporium cellare. Tokaji – as the wine from Tokaj is called – is a beautiful representation of when a distinctive environment meets with specific grape varieties, passion and heritage, the result is extraordinary wine.”
