”The main goal of the Congress is to pass on knowledge to professionals that is up-to-date,useful, and easy to put into practice from a holistic perspective and to create an internationalscientific platform for the unique viticultural and oenological traditions of the Tokaj WorldHeritage Wine Region. The University of Tokaj and University of Debrecen would like tostrengthen their international scientific network in the transdisciplinary fields of viticulture,oenology, wine culture and wine business through inviting lectures by top scientists,researchers and practicing professionals, worldwide known viticulturists, and winemakers.The Congress is open to scientists, students, educators, managers, policy, and decision-makers.”
Nu finns ”Book of abstracts” publicerat för konferensen som ägde rum förra hösten (2024) i det och historiska vindistriktet Tokaj, i Ungern; en sammanställning över de ämnen som presenterades av konferensens deltagare. Tillsammans med svenska kollegor såsom Lotta Nordmark, SLU och Anna Ternell, Research Institute of Sweden, höll jag två presentationer: (1) ”Sweden – an emerging cool climate wine region with a possibility to contribute with novel methods on sustainable wine farming?”, (2) ”Mineral-based soil improvers in organic viticulture”.
Mycket givande dagar med mycket nätverkande och kunskapsutbyte. 🍇
